Our educational programme covers three broad areas - the medical undergraduate programme, the nursing postgraduate programme and practical training for those working within palliative care and related specialties.

To provide medical students with an understanding of palliative care and equip them to manage end of life care when they become house officers, we provide palliative care teaching as part of the undergraduate curriculum for the following universities:-

  • Universiti Malaya (UM)
  • Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
  • Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)
  • Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
  • International Medical University (IMU)
  • Perdana University

We also provide teaching to postgraduates specialising in Family Medicine at a select number of universities in the country, and work closely with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education to provide community palliative care training and specialist training in palliative medicine. Palliative care trainees and specialists spend 6 months of their training with us.

We also accept medical students doing their electives or short attachments from medical schools and from across the globe.
