Hospis Malaysia's workshops are attended by doctors and nurses from all over Malaysia, with occasional participation from neighbouring countries. Among areas that form the core aspects of our workshops include communication, dealing with pain and physical symptoms of patients, psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, as well as managing the social and spiritual impacts off illness.
Methodologies used include tutorials, practical exercises, interactive sessions (often with the participation of our patients). All workshops are held at Hospis Malaysia's Day Care Centre in Cheras, but once a year, a general Palliative Care workshop is held at a major town in Malaysia. In 2005, this was held in Ipoh and in 2006, Melaka. Hospis Malaysia's workshops are usually held around the same time each year, are listed as follows:-
Palliative Care Modular Workshops
This is a series of modular workshops focussing on assessment and management of common Palliative Care issues. Suitable for all healthcare professionals interested in Palliative Care, and are usually held around the same time each year. Details of workshops for 2009 follow:-

- Palliative Care Foundation Workshop (in collaboration with APHN)
